The Auction

Clans are groups of ninja who've banded together in order to pool their resources and achieve greater success. Based on how old and successful a clan has been, they may have even developed hereditary abilities (Kekke Genkai) or secret jutsus that are unique only to them. Much like how a ninja village is governed (but on a smaller scale), clans can also be improved to grant greater benefits or even unlock special jutsus for its members (the clan budget gets its money from donations from its members, or the village itself). Based on how powerful a clan is, we have divided clans into 3 levels:

• Level 1 clans are the weakest, least famous and thus cheapest when it comes to improving them. Level 1 clans nether have secret jutsus unique only to that clan nor KGs, but in order to join them ninja usually have to have a certain clanless trait. Some level 1 clans have their own unique "Trait" which replaces your current one if you join that clan. Level 1 clans don't have a KG stat. Example of level 1 clans: Ten Ten's clan, Rock Lee's clan.
  
  
• Level 2 clans have earned quite a reputation for themselves and usually possess secret abilities or jutsus unique only to that clan. You don't get a "Clanless Trait" if you are in a level 2 clan since the clan provides you with its own abilities. You usually don't get a KG stat for level 2 clans. Example for level 2 clans: Nara, Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Yamanaka, Fuuma ect...
  
  
• Level 3 clans are extremely (in)famous clans, and for good reason. Ninjas in level 3 clans all have a KG stat and are extremely powerful. To balance this out a bit, level 3 clans have reduced available number of members and their clan improvements are the most expensive. Example for level 3 clans: Uchiha, Hyuuga, Kaguya, and just about every other clan that has an advanced element. (some filler made advanced elements might even count as level 2 clans).

NOTE: Ninja who have learned secret jutsus from a level 2 clan through torture, or obtained KG's through transplant or something, only get those things and NOT the rest of the benefits from clan improvements from the clan that KG (or jutsu) belongs to.

Unless you find a way to take their Sharingan out of play, an Uchiha will never have problems with RT or Genjutsus and will most likely dominate any straightforward battle (brute strength alone will never be enough to beat them). They have a powerful advanced element (Blaze release= Fire+Lightning) but its hard to access, and above average capabilities in just about every area. Their Sharingan is inferior to the Byuakugan in terms of insight so this makes them more straightforward fighters.

The Senju clan has no doujutsu or KG (except the occasional Wood release), but as their name suggests (Senju - "clan of a thousand skills") they are good at everything, and I do mean everything. Just think of it as a normal clanless ninja buffed beyond recognition and not being forced to specialize in any 1 area in order to be a real threat. This clan, in general, has no KG stat.

An assassin's nightmare, thanks to their Byuakugan it would be nothing short of a miracle to get a cheap shot bonus against a Hyuuga. Their perception is just about unreducible. They also have access to the strongest unarmed taijutsu style in the system.

The Yuki clan is most famous for it's Ice release element (wind+water release), a powerful and easy to master element. In addition to this Yuki ninja are considered geniuses, quickly advancing in power and easily mastering skills and jutsus that would normally be beyond the reach of normal ninja.

A clan that is famous for their Magnet release element (Wind+Lightning), a difficult to master element. On the battlefield, they are like a ninjutsu artillery, favoring the stationary type of fighting. If some conditions are met, ninja from this clan can obtain the Sand release (Wind+Earth).

Access to the Shikotsumyaku (Corpse Bone Chain) KG. Very powerful taijutsu fighters that can take a lot of punishment thanks to their regenerating ability. Their fighting style is up their along with the Hyuuga's Gentle fist.

Suigetsu was from this clan. This clan has access to a very unique KG (Yin+water release) that allows them to turn to water (among other things). Benefits in the area of Kenjutsu and Water elemental jutsus. This clan's strange jutsus makes for some very unpredictable combos on the battlefield.

The members of this clan possess the innate ability to absorb natural energy from their surroundings, the same kind of energy used to enter sage mode. However, their knock-off sage modes, though powerful, are greatly inferior to real sage modes and come at the price of reduced self control (especially at lower levels) making them dangerous to allies as much as enemies.

Has a very unique KG (they have chakra sucking bugs called kikaichū live inside their bodies) with some unusual jutsu that affects the battlefield in many unexpected manners. They are however weak in many of the usual areas, especially taijutsu.

A clan with access to very strange secret jutsu (yang release mostly) and clan exclusive items. Ideal for straightforward battles. No KG stat.

A clan with many clan exclusive items and a few extremely powerful kinjutsu (though often with harmful side effects or outright suicide). If you need canon fodder, this is the way to go. No KG stat

A clan that uses pets as companions to fight along with them. Has increased taijutsu and awareness, as well as some secret jutsu, but is pretty weak in other areas.

Though they lack a powerful presence on the field, having generally weaker PS stats and less destructive elemental jutsu than most ninja, Nara clan members are master strategists that focus on controlling the battlefield. Their moto is "a well placed kunai can kill a man just as easily as some flashy elemental ninjutsu".

A Yamanaka ninja himself will be the first to tell you they aren't the best fighters in the world, preferring hit-and-run and stealth tactics even more so than the Nara. However, they are hands-down the best infiltrators ever.

Members of this clan are very weak in every area except genjutsus. In that area they are even stronger than the Uchiha.

A clan of item crafters. Aside from their very unique and powerful items, there is nothing special about these ninja. No KG stat.

A clan of taijutsu practitioners. They gain several benefits in that area (mostly price discounts).

A clan of weapon users. They gain several benefits in that area (mostly price discounts).

A clan of con men, spies and infiltrators. They have several unique jutsus and, while they may be better than normal ninja, they are no Yamanaka.
