Ranks
On this site ranks are just titles and have no influence on the outcome of an RP battle (naruto is still a genin yet he's one of the most powerful ninja out there). If you want to make your character stronger you will have to raise his level.
If it's your first time on this site your first character has to be an academy student. To become a genin you have to pass a written exam, which is basically just a few questions to see if you've read the rules or not.
Beyond genin rank, it's up to the kage or ninja council of each individual village on how they decide to promote their ninja. They may decide to immediately make you a jounin (like Kakashi when he was a kid) or they can keep you as a genin (this is usually used as punishment for inactive people). There will be the occasional worldwide chuunin exam like in the anime/manga and you if pass it, they'll have to promote you whether they like it or not.
MISSIONS
Successfully completing missions earns you the following rewards:
- Quote :
- D rank mission = 2 EXP and 3,000 ryo
C rank mission = 4 EXP and 15,000 ryo
B rank mission = 10 EXP and 50,000 ryo
A rank mission = 25 EXP and 150,000 ryo
S rank mission = 75 EXP and 600,000 ryo
If you want to take a mission, go to your village's missions section (it's in the Administration Building forum). There you'll find a list of available missions, pick one and start RPing.
If you don't like the choices laid out, you can create your own mission. To do this just open a request topic in your village's mission section. The mission will have to be approved by the staff before you can start it. The reason for this is to prevent people from spamming high level mission that have easy objectives. This is what a mission looks like:
- Quote :
- Type: (Escort, assassination, bodyguard, delivery, chore, scouting, patrol ect...)
Rank: (D, C, B, A or S)
Client: (Write down who wants this mission done. The daimyo? A rich civilian?)
Details: (More info on the circumstances regarding the mission or the nature of the mission itself. Also lists what kind of opposition or obstacles are expected)
Objective: (With a few words, explains exactly what you need to do to complete the mission.)
Assigned to: (The ninja or ninja team this mission is given to).
Also, sometimes a kage may order you to take on a mission or assignment (even if you don't feel like doing one at the time). You'd better accept it or suffer his wrath.
-Missions don't have a minimum word count rule, you just need to complete the objectives. The only exception to this rule is D rank missions, since they only need 1 topic to be completed. For them the word count should be 400~500 words.
-Solo missions are allowed. If multiple PC ninja complete a mission they have to split the rewards. The kage or council may award extra money for a job well done.
-No more than 1 ninja team may be sent on a mission. A ninja team can only have 1 leader and there can't be more than 3 PC ninja on 1 team. The only exceptions to this rule is when a sensei is assigned to watch over 3 low level genin.
-All missions are [important] topics which means so you can't start a new mission or open any new [important] topic before the current one is finished. An exception to this rule is if a high rank mission is taking way too long to complete (usually because of lazy members). In such a case you may request a D rank no-risk-involved mission in a [casual] topic. The timeline of the D rank mission will be treated as if it had happened before the high ranked one.
A FRIENDLY WARNINGB, A and S rank missions are particularly difficult so don't take them lightly. The chances of running into an enemy PC ninja is very high.
